Malaysian Taxi

Ok, so I’m pretty upset now. DAMN taxis! Got some suggestions for the companies which “offer” the much-needed taxi service; especially Public Cab.
My suggestions are the following:

Be on time! Mark the cars! Don’t lie! Clean the CARS! No smelly cabs! No smelly drivers! Fix the meters! Don’t steal!

There you go.

So why am I so upset then? Well obviously, I got some problems with the taxis. The problems are just mentioned. For the ones who didn’t quite get it.

So here’s the first one: Be on time!
How often don’t you wait for the taxi 5-10 minutes? Like always! And when they’re finally in time – you’re naturally not. Then the driver nags that you are in fact late and he’s in a hurry, or something. When the taxi’s late you can’t say a thing cause then he’ll (or she) probably drive off cursing you, making you stand there without any cab. Like a fool.

The second: Mark the cars!
Why aren’t cars from different taxi companies marked differently?! It’s really annoying that all are the same color and have the same stickers. It’s also stupid cause then you can’t really tell the difference between the companies. Oh yeah, we have the yellow damn expensive one. Like I’m going with that. Right, I’m a millionaire. I don’t know if it’s whether it’s the government or the companies that agreed on this, but it’s not good. Every single taxi company and driver would benefit if you could tell them apart. Isn’t it really common sense?

The third: Don’t lie!
Isn’t it extremely annoying when people lie to you? Sure it is. You hate it. We all do. So why is there that taxi companies are allowed to lie? You call them and the operator replies “taxi’s on the way!”, and even gives you the number which by the way can be either the car’s registration number or the number of taxi. Anyway, fine you say and wait. And wait, and wait, and wait. After 15 minutes you start to wonder if the damn taxi is ever gonna come. Then you call the company up – if you ever get through – and then they say “sorry, no cab”. No cab!? But you just told me the taxi is ion the way. Even gave me the damn number! But no. No taxi for you. Humph. So you’re gonna call another company and hope the same thing doesn’t happen again.

Advice number four: “Clean the CARS!
Ever seen a dirty and unhygienic taxi? I bet you have. You’re probably seen a lot. I’m just guessing here, but isn’t there some STANDARDS the companies – and taxi drivers – should and must follow? I mean, there are those stickers everywhere saying that the taxis should be clean and healthy, and that the driver should act in a civilized manner and so. Well if these rules exist, why aren’t they followed? Why isn’t it like that? Didn’t ever someone from the health department or ministry take a taxi raid? Ah yeah they did, but probably never they ordinary, common cause they had either limo cab or the expensive yellow one. If you’re a taxi driver, I suggest you clean your car. After all, you’re supposed to be offering a SERVICE to people – that PAY for the ride.

So to the fifth: No smelly cars!
I’m sure nobody wants to travel in a stinking taxi that makes both you and you’re clothes stink. There’s really no point in saying any more here. I want an odorless car! We all do!

The sixth advice: No smelly drivers!
This one goes hand in hand with the previous. I don’t want a smelly cab, and I sure as hell don’t want a smelly driver. When you’re driving a taxi, and again offering a service, you should act and smell in certain sense ways. Or perhaps I should say don’t smell in certain ways… Common people, wake up! Spray your cars! Buy perfume! Do something but don’t smell!

Number seven: Fix the meters!
Why issit that one taxi charge you one amount and another taxi another amount, even though you went the same way, for the same time? Ok, I know the traffic – big problem. Many jams. But hey, there’s not always jams. Yet prices sometimes fluctuate like I don’t know what. But let’s be honest, the fee is usually acceptable and somewhat similar. Then we have the bad guys of the business; the ones that go WITHOUT a meter and charge naive customers shameless prices. Like the guys lurking outside IKEA. They are real criminals. Pure MAFFIA. I assume they trick foreigners more then they can locals. Cause we all know foreigners are stupid and easy to fool, huh? Not. Think again. Turn that meter on and be honest will ya!

Then to the last one: Don’t steal!
Ok so we reached the destination and paid for the trip. You sit there and are waiting for you’re change but none is coming. The driver is trying to fool you on your hard earned cents and just sit there and looks at the sky or something. Like wondering IF you’re ever gonna leave. When – and if – you actually bother to ask them about the change, they forgot about it or got no change. Yeah right! Others get mad and irritated I try to tipp them and lecture you that they have a great job and aren’t poor, and so on. Hmmm.

Just want to add that some customers – not the drivers in this case – are surprisingly rude and often snatch taxis right in front of you. Like they’re all alone there. Like there’s no line at the taxi stand. Nah, just go and steal the taxis in front of everybody. No, I believe there’s a point of having lines at taxi stands. Get in line if you want a taxi!

But anyway, this article has one point: to inform you guys who are dependent on taxi that the taxi companies want, and are going to, raise prices with maybe as much as 50%. They blame it on expensive petrol. Fine, go ahead. Raise the prices. I can accept that. But improve the service and quality if so. Many, many cars need to be 'processed'. I don’t think anyone wants to pay more for the current standard. I sure as hell don’t. Who wants to ride a dirty and smelly taxi with such prices? Hello, I pay for the ride here! I should and want to, be driven in a clean taxi that don’t smell. I want the driver to be clean and odorless too! Naturally, not all taxis are dirty and unhygienic. Some are actually very fresh and nice, and the drivers of these taxis are usually very nice as well. Demand better service when they raise prices! Force the taxi companies to implement these suggestions! It's your money! Take a stand you people!

Sick Sweden

Every other day a girl is raped and abused, and the offenders are usually free to walk – if they’re ever caught. Just recently, there was an incident like this. A 13 year old girl was raped by four men (immigrants from the Middle East) who all got low penalties because the girl was too “drunk” to say no. The fact that she indeed was drunk and probably had fainted (in other words incapable to say anything at all) didn’t seem to please the court. Also, by law people below 15 years are not allowed to have sex. It’s ILLEGAL. Neither this were mentioned by anyone.

It’s a shame and frightening that more and more girls are getting raped and abused, but I can’t help to blame some on them. Girls and women nowadays wear very questionable outfits, if they wear anything at all except from the must have. A lot of parents, okay I mean the mothers, usually let their daughters’ dress any way they like. Then the daughters, who aren’t usually thinking the same way as adults or guys do, gets in trouble. Everybody asks why. Why ask why? It’s obvious. Moms do your job. Daddies too, pay attention. Tell her that she dresses like a slut! Tell the mother too! It’s also amazing that rapes keeps increasing and girls STILL dresses this way. Or a better word is maybe undresses. Anyway, raping a 13 year old girl is totally wrong and unacceptable, and if it was up to me, I’ll have them shot between the legs. Then I’ll have them deported.

Swedish laws are funny. Kill someone; get five to seven years in jail. Be out on good behavior after three or four years. If you don’t get off easy that is, and get that I-was-psychological-ill-when-I-committed-the-crime bullshit confirmed. Then it’s like three years all together in a cozy psychological institute or something, with very acceptable conditions. Not too long a mental patient from such a place killed a little girl while being “out on a walk”. Apparently, he saw a murder on TV and wanted to try it out. Now that’s security! Let the mental ill out and have fun! Just don’t forget to say you’re sorry to the girl’s family afterwards. I’m sure they understand and appreciate it…

Btw, the murder the mental ill saw was the murder on the Swedish foreign minister Anna Lindh. The killer called Mihaljovic (from ex Yugoslavia) claimed he was mental ill while committing the act. So he was sent to an institution as well. Maybe they meet up and talked the two killers. But perhaps he’s really insane because Mihaljovic apparently wants to be transferred to some infamous prison somewhere in former Yugoslavia where there’s no heat and warm water and overall horrible conditions. Let’s send him off after having a little fun; I’ll throw the first stone, ok? Or maybe he likes knives better. Yeah should probably use that instead. After all, he used a knife to kill the minister. BTFW, why don’t Swedish ministers have bodyguards?! Or any security. They surely have it most countries in this world. I bet they all do. But not in Sweden. No. Nothing bad happens in Sweden. Common now, first we had the killing of Olof Palme – a prime minister – way back (murderer most likely still free) and now Anna Lindh. When will we learn? Will we ever?!

Any person, who commits a murder, rape, and all such crimes are naturally mental unwell. Normal people don’t do things like that. No way. It’s just the way it is. Basically all the people in jail, depending on the crime off course, is mental ill. I say throw all of them in a Siberian jail or something. Why should some people, like Mihaljovic, be off easy? I mean especially him of all people. Hello! He killed the foreign minister here. Try that in say, Iraq or USA and see what happens. There’s no playing around and a guy like that can expect only the death penalty in most countries (where it’s applied). But in Sweden, though we pamper with him instead. Also Swedish prisons are far from hard; the inmates play computer and console games, surf the net, getting big, and eat better food then school kids. Now that is fair, huh?

Then we have abuse and assault. Now that’s easy. Even eleven year olds are out mugging and assaulting people. Mainly because of robbing but also just for the fun of it. These angry teens know that if they get caught the police can only send them back home because people under 15 can’t be arrested or prosecuted. Cute huh. Their parents aren’t doing a very good job and shouldn’t be allowed to have children. They should all be neutered. Let me add without being called a racist, that many of these little thugs are immigrants, and usually from the Middle East, Africa, or former Yugoslavia.

But it’s not only little foreign kids that commits these acts. Overall, abuse – especially against woman – is common because the penalties are weak. Actually, they’re practically non existent. You could easily smack a couple of people and get only a fine. Even if you get to jail, you be out in something like a year or so. Something is even worse is that people are allowed to walk after abusing small babies, which is somewhat of a phenomenon In Sweden lately. A lot of young parents have flourished and don’t just get it. If the baby cries – smack it up! That’s apparently a common thought.

It doesn’t end here off course, but I got tired of writing. So what did we learn from reading this? That Sweden is by far the best country for out there for rape, assault, and murder. And that’s the way it is.

Sue my ass

OK so now I’m really pissed off. The other day I downloaded this app. When I executed it, I got redirected to a website that said I was a software pirate and that the app had registered my computer’s ip, and personal info – and sent it to the company!

The program STOLE private info from my computer! And what’s even worse, it told me that if I paid $80 within 48 hours I could buy myself out. That the whole thing was gonna be forgotten! But if I were not to pay, they threatened with LAWSUIT!

Serious BS! They’re basically saying “look, we have this thing on you, so you better pay or face the consequences…” It’s clearly blackmail. I really doubt this behavior is allowed and legal. I mean, if it was, all companies in the world would use it! Microsoft would use it! But then NOBODY would buy their software. Who wants a program that can (and will) record and steal your private info and files?

The program is called “Mail2Pop” and it’s from a company called “PorkChup Solutions” (www.porkchup.com). PorkChup! OMG what a name! Sounds like a pig farm or something. The name is probably the most irritating thing of all.

The software is a little app that makes it possible to read Gmail with Outlook Express. Anyone could write it. My guess is they wrote it with the single purpose to blackmail those with the bad luck of trying it. The so called anti-piracy function is far more advanced then the software itself.

I did some research and discovered I wasn’t alone bout this matter (surprise, surprise). Some people say the program stole pin numbers, credit card numbers, and other PRIVATE info. I don’t exactly know what they stole from me, but according to them, they registered e-mail addresses, my ip-number, and hard drive id from my computer.

They claim I was informed through the EULA (disclaimer). Sure, how often do you actually READ the EULA? They’re always the same! Well except from this bastard off course! If knowing about it, I would never install this godforsaken app. Who would?!

Now I’m not familiar with the law regarding stuff like this, but behavior of this kind must be ILLEGAL. It’s illegal to steal – period! Their program clearly fits category VIRUS. It’s a mix of trojan/keylogger and therefore malicious software. If this shit isn’t illegal yet, it should be! I should sue them bastards for stealing private information and files, and for violating my personal integrity! Grrr!

Anyway, in the end, this was a good experience. It reminds me how vulnerable people and home users are. I consider myself pretty paranoid, and won’t go online without protection like firewall and antivirus. Apparently, I need more protection! It also reminds me to scan EVERYTHING! And to read the EULA!

Boycott this lame program! Let this company rut in hell!
